HISTORIC BACKGROUND The Process came permanently to Sweden in the beginning of 1970 and today Selective Plating is an approved and useful method for surface coating. Some different manufacturers and products occurs within this specific branch of surface treatment called Selective Plating or Brush Plating or Tampon Plating. Selectrons and SIFCO in the USA and Europe have been leading suppliers within Selective Plating for long time. After the merging of SIFCO and Selectron 1992 the new company, SIFCO Selective Plating is the world leader in Selective Plating. Sifco AB took over the activity form Selectron in Sweden, October 1992 and has carried on the activity in the present premises (photo above) since January 1993. Sifco is located in Rättvik. THE ACTIVITY Sifco AB has the agency for SIFCO and Selectron products for the Nordic and Baltic markets and offers training courses in the Process. The company works with the Process of Selective Plating in its own workshop, on site and at the customer's plant , especially in Sweden but also in other countries in the world. The company is market leader at the Nordic market and today employs 8 people. |
